- My husband just joined Facebook and I think there will be a sharp decrease in available computer time.
- It's Spring Break.
- Blogging has become more of a chore than an enjoyment lately.
- Last time I checked in the mirror, I had sixty-five new gray hairs and I suspect the glow from the computer might be causing it.
- Sometimes I look at Google Reader and see that there are eighty million new posts to read and I think, "We all need lives!!"
- I'm busy.
- All of the above.
- All of the above except for number five.

I so hear ya! When one gets a break from the computer, it's like--hey, there's a whole WORLD out here! It's tough.
Ahh, the fine art of balance.
Good luck, and I'll miss ya!
(BTW, the commenting twice a week is cool. If I get two posts out in a week something strange is going on)
:-)
Yes. I used to have a nice balance.
Let's just say I don't feel so balanced anymore.
Good luck!
I completely understand. I don't have a hard time with the posting part, but I do with the commenting part.
I'm going with choice 8... only because I don't think you'd wasting the time to count the grey hairs though... because yes, we do all need lives :)
We'll see you around whenever you get around - just be assured that "facebook addiction" is crazy off the hook for 2 - 7 weeks, and then it settles down... hopefully :)
Is THAT what is causing all those gray hairs?
Because I KNEW it wasn't the fact that I turned 45 this year! I wonder what is causing the umm, laugh lines?
I think you're a very smart woman. It's probably something that's overdue for me, too!
I'm making myself cut back little by little here...I need to start preparing to move and I need to sew more (so that I can sell more, so that I'll have less fabric to move!) and I am thinking I'll be cutting way back by the time the wee one arrives...
I keep finding I have lots of things to talk about though, so I end up writing lots of posts and scheduling them and they end up being almost daily.
I vote for number 8. And I am living a few of these too. I hate when my Reader is full and I feel such a burden. HATE IT. Not because anyone's forcing me to read them, but I WANT to read them, but I don't want it to take any time.
I was thinking of just picking a few bloggers that I love and keeping up with them very closely and then checking in on the others once in a while, but the list of bloggers I really like a lot is longer than I'd hoped. (I thought I'd find 8-10, but there's more like 20-30+)
I hope your new plan works for you!
I've been thinking I need to take a break too. I don't realize how the times flies while I'm on the computer. I get on to check a few blogs, then before I know it I've been on the computer for hours. It's crazy.
To everything a time and a season, eh?
I think you're smart. I keep thinking I'll do the same, but it turns out I have a blogging problem.
You mean...if I weren't at the computer so much I'd have more of a life??? Oh man, I should have thought of that. sigh...
No really. I totally get it. And on top of life being busy, you're building a house!!! that's A LOT.
Hee-hee. I hear ya. I'm voting for number 8 btw!
good for you!! I have tried this too, but haven't succeeded. Someone ends up leaving a funny comment. I have to check their blog. Then I see more funny comments... and on it goes.
i agree with number one. in fact, i told adam the very same thing on facebook. did you steal that from me? just kidding. a little :)
and i understand about needing a break from blogging. i took a 3 month break, and i don't think anyone noticed. . . which fails to explain why i took it up again, but whatever.
I cut back to posting three days a week and I am much happier!
