I don't like breakfast. Um, let me rephrase that. I like breakfast. Just like I like lunch, dinner, snack time, and any other time I get to eat. I just don't like breakfast foods. Does anyone else eat spaghetti, tuna casserole, or PB&J before nine in the morning?
If you're already fairly comfortable with the way you look, is it worth it to lose five-ish pounds simply because there's a pair of pants sitting on the closet shelf that will fit if you do? Or should you just continue wearing pants that already fit?
I've bought towels, shower curtains, drapes, and wall decor for the new house. Does that count as counting your chickens before they hatch?
If you really, really, really don't like playing cars with your son because it's so boring that you want to stick a pencil in your ear and swirl it around, can you tell him you're allergic to Hot Wheels? (In case you're wondering how a psycho like me gets to be a mom, there are lots of other games that I DO play - trains, puzzles, playdough, tag, etc. But cars don't do it for me.)
Why, why, why can't we dispense of daylight saving time yet? WHY!? Darn you, Ben Franklin. (Sorry, Ben. Lightning rods and bifocals? Both top notch.)

Wellllll, since you asked.... I don't eat tuna casserole ever, I think you should toss the pants, and I think we should all toss daylight savings right through the window.
I really like breakfast foods, but I'm not a big breakfast eater.
However, I do actually eat PB&J sandwiches for breakfast, on a regular basis!
But c'mon---cold cereal?! That's the food of the gods.
Allergic to Hot Wheels?
That's either evil or ingenious.
I'm leaning toward ingenious, because evil moms don't play trains, puzzles and tag :-)
I'm totally gonna remember this one for when my boys understand what allergic means.
And I totally eat breakfast foods any time of the day.
Bacon???
Eggs???
how can cuisine be any tastier?
You're living in the wrong country, lady. The breakfast foods of which you speak are American breakfast foods. Move to Poland and you'll be eating fish and salads and sandwiches for breakfast every day. (unless you hate those things and make yourself whatever you want, like I do. I LOVE American breakfast foods. LOVE THEM.)
I'm sort of exactly where you are about the five pounds. I can get all of my jeans on, just some of them don't look the best.
And the main reason I said I'd want to meet Mr. Franklin was so I could ask him about daylight savings and why-oh-why. (Not Y-O-Y, because that doesn't spell anything. Did you read that in Erin's sidebar? So cute.)
I am definately alergic to hot wheels! But give me a train track and I am good to go!
And... I prefer traditional breakfast foods -- for breakfast, lunch AND dinner!
I haven't figured out if I am allergic to Hot Wheels or the sounds my sons make playing Hot Wheels...but alas..it gets worse..there's the shooting sounds..the machine gun sounds..the fart sounds...the explosion sounds..I need earplugs.
PS Big Cap'n Crunch fan here (of course only when the kids go to school)

I enjoy breakfast foods so much I routinely eat them for lunch and dinner.
As far as the pants go, get rid of them. I thought the same thing and kept my fave pair of pants, and now that I can fit back into them, they are totally and hopelessly out of style. Wasted room on my shelf for 3 years.
Ah, this may affect our ability to be friends, as I would happily eat breakfast foods for every meal of the day. I adore waffles and eggs especially. (no, not together, lol!)
I'm a breakfast-o-phile. :)
Cold cereal, blech, give me something good like a belgian waffle, fried eggs on toast, french toast, crepes...mmmmmmm!
One thing I DO know... I can't eat anything green in the morning. Green is for afternoon or evening. Seriously.
I love breakfast foods... I've been known to serve breakfast multiple times per day... my kids routinely ask for french toast for dinner... yummm (oh, I'm hungry again!)
I'm allergic to Barbies, so I can see the Hot Wheel problem, go ahead and claim the allergy :)
I like the inside of your head.
Even though I looooove breakfast foods.
And I'm allergic to horsey rides, so it's all good.
Such randomness for a Friday! I like breakfast foods, but for dinner sometimes. I like yogurt or smoothie for breakfast. Something fast and easy.
Mostly anything boy didn't do it for me. Cars, trains, power rangers, etc. I pretended....Is that a lie?
If you feel good about your weight, get rid of the tiny pants. °Ü°
I love breakfast foods. I could (and often do) eat them all day long. I mean, french toast? Fruity Peebles? Those are perfect foods.
I've been thinking about that 5 pound thing a lot lately. I bet if I didn't eat so much breakfast food I could lose 5 pounds and fit into those stupid pants.
I'm allergic to playing with Barbies so I think being allergic to Hot Wheels is perfectly legitimate.
We don't do daylight savings in Arizona. It's a nice perk.
All fascinating topics worthy of comment but I have to warn you about the allergic to hot wheels idea--that one will come back to bite you somehow. Cosmic law of the universe. I'm not scotching the idea out of any sense of moral outrage but simply b/c butt-bites hurt.
I love breakfast foods but not at breakfast time. I could eat waffles for dinner daily. Oh, and bacon. And hash browns.
I'm really hungry now.
Oh man do I ever feel the same way about playing cars. EW.
But I do love daylight savings time because we'll SPRING forward and I'm hoping this means the clock will say seven rather than six a.m. when I roll over in the morning to respond to the cries. and I can always hope that the boys will just stay on that schedule...
okay...maybe I don't like it.
I love all sorts of foods for breakfast. Who in the world came up with that silly rule that certain foods were the only acceptable ones for the morning? Ridiculous.
I hate day light savings too. I like breakfast foods too but don't often eat too much breakfast. It is probably worth dieting if you really want to wear those pants, but then again food is good.
