It burns us!

Dear Johnson and Johnson,

No offense or anything, but your tear-free baby wash is anything but. Yeah, yeah, you probably weren't expecting anyone to take a nice concentrated glob right in the eye, but still. False advertise much? And this a product for kids. You do know what kids are capable of, do you not? You totally should have seen that coming. Thanks anyway.

Disgruntled and a little embarrassed,

The mom with a burning eye

Fu-nny! I thought it was mildly amusing until I got to the signature. Great. Do more stuff like that so we can all have a laugh over your posts, kay? :) :(

That is AWESOME. What a great mom you are... "Mom it hurts!"..."really, let me try it!" :)

So, we're you testing it out, or did you get a squirt in the eye while bathing your little one? I'm guessing the latter, but either way...darn those Johnsons!

sorry - that's apparently what the "rinse and repeat" is about... you've gotta get that stuff outta your eye!!!

I hate "tear free stuff'. It ALWAYS hurts. Foreign objects, including soap, just aren't meant to go in the eye (except for contacts and even those hurt!).

Ha! Sorry, just had to laugh. ours kids sure show us love in strange ways...

So let me get this straight, you're blaming it on the kids, but it's in your eye? Man, either you like to have family bath, your kids have impeccable long-distance aim, or you're showering WAY too early in the morning. :) Fun post.

Oh it's YOUR eye!
Hilarity!

I mean, sorry about it!

'baby shampoos' do not have any fewer painful (or toxic) ingredients than regular shampoo. In fact, they have more.
They just also have numbing agents in them.
Ditto on 'sensitive toothpaste'--same harsh irritating chemicals, plus tylenol.
Nice, huh?
I don't use soap of any kind on my babies until they are old enough to get dirt on themselves (ie, crawling/walking outside). Even then, I usually go with warm water and a washcloth, and only bust out soap when absolutely necessary. Ditto for myself actually. It makes the world a happier place. :)

Oh, and I totally got the reference in the title. You big geek. :D

It's pretty comparable to an air soft pellet in your ear :)

Man I tell you what, I was wondering when someone else was going to post that.

Personally I like to use the baby wash for MY face. it's not harsh and it's suppose to be easy on the eyes....WHATEVER!!!

I agree with you there...but I'm a cheap skate and refuse to by johnson&Johnson either way it still burns like acid :)

LOL See I'm not the only MOM out there that gets the immature oopsies :) hehe...(no offense)
